The Hungry Caterpillar Adventure
Welcome to The Very Hungry Caterpillar Adventure game! This is an abstract game I created inspired by the snake game. In my game you play as a hungry little caterpillar that eats apples and gradually grows in size. As you play it will become difficult to keep track of your body! Only the head of your body can eat apples and you can NOT run into the sides of the game or else your caterpillar will get hurt, game over! Each time you eat an apple your score will go up, how many apples can you eat before your caterpillar gets too big??
HOW TO PLAY
Use WASD to move your caterpillar (you can not move in the opposite direction you are already moving in)
If you hit the boarders of the screen its gameover!
Try to collect as many apples to increase your score without hitting the boarders or getting confused by your caterpillar body :)

I'm interested to know how you got the movement for the caterpillar's body to work, as it looks very well done! Great choice of music and fun gameplay too!
The game had a really cute esthetic, I honestly died because I was just enjoying the music so much I closed my eyes and forgot I was playing a game lol
You weren't kidding about the "getting confused by your caterpillar body" part. Had a couple of brainfarts where I thought I got my directions confused from overlapping my caterpillar body too much. The most painful moments were when the apples spawned very close to the border and I didn't turn away fast enough to not hit them. Love the font choice and UI! Very stylish and adorable
